Eight Simple Ways To Perfect Health

Health is a very important factor that man should consider to enjoy life. It is being taught in schools, yet often neglected by the younger generation of the human society. As man starts to age, he starts to be healthy conscious and even starts to search for the fountain of youth.
To keep man healthy, he searches for so many complicated ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Yet there are simple ways that are right before our very eyes that most of us simply ignore.

There are eight simple ways to perfect health which are as follows:

1. Nutrition. Balanced diet and proper nutrition is often neglected in the most often fast pace of life. Oftentimes, because of too much hectic schedule, corporate workers simply grab a burger for lunch or take junk foods in between meals just to satisfy their hunger. Balanced diet is simply taking the correct food groups at the right amounts and ratio. Thus, a simple meal should always include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and vitamins. Too much processed food in the diet means less fiber. Less fiber in meals can slow down the flow of digested food in the intestinal tract, which studies have shown can lead to problems like colon and rectal cancers.

2. Exercise. We often think that by working in our jobs is enough to give us exercise. Wrong. Exercise should be taken at a wholistic point of view. Exercise should include all the body parts such as the circulatory system and the respiratory system. A brisk walk is very much recommended as it involves every muscle in your body, it triggers the blood vessels and the heart to contract more to circulate the blood, and it exercises your lungs. If you are not sure what kind of exercise to take or if you are suffering from any kind of ailment, it is best to consult your physician before engaging in any form of exercise.

3. Water. Water is every where, but not all liquids are water. Not all water is safe to drink either. It is proper to take only potable water at least six glasses a day. The more water we drink, the more body excretions will be washed out from our body. Precaution should also be noted with patients who may be suffering from hypertension, kidney problems, heart problems, and other ailments which affect water excretion from the body.

4. Sunlight. Except for people living in the polar regions, we see sunlight everyday. Many people just don't take advantage of it or abuse it. Early morning sunlight is always the best. Many caucasians would like to sunbathe just to get a tan even during noon time. Over exposure has a high risk of skin cancer especially among Caucasians. Therefore, just get the right sunlight exposure at the right time.

5. Temperance. This simply refers to control over our lifestyle including the use of alcoholic beverages. Alcoholism can lead to many different illnesses such as hepatic cirrhosis, alcoholic hepatitis, pancreatitis, and a lot of other complications. While socialization is good, why should we practice a lifestyle that can shorten our life span?

Unhealthy sexual practices are best to be avoided too. As a reminder, diseases can also be transmitted sexually which include AIDS.

6. Air. Air is free. Our bodies need clean air. Polluted air can be in the form of inhaled smoke direct from cigarette or tobacco smoking, or secondary smoke which is exhaled by a smoker. In the US, smoking advertisements is already banned, whereas other third world countries continue promoting smoking. Should we regard money more than health? Other forms of pollution are polluted air from car exhaust and factory smoke. Let us all try to keep our communities free from pollution. Cigarette smoking is known to create abnormalities on an unborn child of a smoking pregnant mother. It is also known to create lung cancer and other respiratory complications.

7. Rest. Our bodies need rest too. Too much work without rest is unhealthy. Too much play without rest is not advisable either. Getting the right amount of sleep is highly advisable to maintain both physical and mental health. Fatigue can lead to poor body resistance. Poor body resistance leads to more susceptibility to diseases.

8. Trust in God. A wholistic viewpoint of a healthy lifestyle should include concerns not just for the physical and mental health, but it should include our spiritual health. Many of us believe in the living God, thus it is but proper to trust in Him.

These eight ways are all too simple, but without practicing them, the basics of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is hardly achievable.

God's Beautiful Rainbow

Probably almost all of us have seen a rainbow in our lifetime, have you? The rainbow had a role during the great flood. God told Noah that after the flood He would send a rainbow which signifies God's promise that He will no longer destroy the earth with flood.

A rainbow is a light phenomenon that can be seen in the sky usually after there is rain. It shows it beautiful magnificent colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. However, rainbows does not stay too long, but with its variety of colors, it is so beautiful to behold.

With modern science, a colorful rainbow can be produced in many ways. One of those is with the use of a prism. A prism is simply a triangular glass. By projecting a beam of light through the two sides of a prism, the white beam of light divides into the colorful lights the can be found in the rainbow up in the sky. Diversity of colors is beautiful to behold.

Now I fully understand what God did with the human race, By creating Adam, and through him, many different races have been formed. There are the Chinese, Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, native american indians, asians, arabs, and a lot of other races that can be found in this world. The diversity of the races is a beauty to behold. Yet God did not make one race superior over the other.

The thought of racial descrimination is a result of man's selfish desires. The thought that other races are inferior to ones race is simply an evil thing that should be suppressed. As God had said, do not judge a man by the color of his skin. Yes, God judges man by looking at the heart of man.

I am just wondering though, are there different races among the angels? Is there diversity among them? I just am wondering. But for all I know, there is beauty in diversity just like the different colors of the rainbow.

Modern Day Miracles

In todays modern man, man is surrounded with the advancement of time and technology. Man's knowledge in many different fields have tremendously grown in leaps and bounds. Many unknown past have been uncovered and have given answers to man's many questions. More discoveries have been exposed.

Despite all the modern tools available at every man's disposal, conflicts still arise. Unproven theories still exist. Theological scholars have given evidences that man has been in existence for 6,000 years while scientific theories propose that humans and other creatures in this world have existed since millions of years ago.

However, man still continues his quest in search of God. Can we find God in modern times? Are there modern day miracles that could lead one to believe that there is a God? Are there evidences and proofs that can prove that there is a God? Some people even search the purpose of their own existence in this world.

If there is no God, did we simply exist by chance? Is the "big bang" theory or the theory of evolution correct? On the otherhand, can man really prove that there is no God?

Let us first try to see the things around us including our modern day gadgets. If we say that cars have existed by chance, many would strongly disagree with me. Simply because we know that cars have been invented by man. If we'd say that modern cars have evolved by themselves since the 1800's, many still will disagree on that too. Simply because we know that automotive designers and engineers have made those significant changes.

Computers are one of the greatest marvels of man's inventions. They work based on the programs that they are made. It can be programmed to do any task that a programmer wants - either a specific job or at a random function. Again, who's behind it's existence and design? The engineers and programmers.

If a clock manufacturer would design a grandfather clock to chime differently on every hour it strikes, that design has been made with a rule on how that clock should operate. Maybe he could establish a rule for that clock to sound an Ave Maria music at one o'clock, or some other music at two o'clock, or three o'clock, etc. Such a rule is a physical law that the clock follows based on the manufacturer's design.

Why does the sun rise from the east and not from the west? Why does the earth follow a law of revolving around the sun and on rotating at its own axis? Who created that rule for the earth and the planets to follow? Certainly it is not human engineers but somebody bigger and more powerful than you and me.

Why do humans and other animals have biorhythms? In general, why do we always wake up in the mornings? Who programmed us to follow those biorhythms? Certainly it is not the human doctors or human engineers. Maybe you'd say it is in the genes. Well, who made those genes? Maybe you'd say it is in the code encrypted on the DNA's. Well, who programmed those DNA's? Certainly SOMEBODY had designed us to be what we are and what we do.

The fact that we can wake up in the next morning, is still a miracle in itself. The fact that the sun rises in the east and not on the west is still a miracle in itself. The birth of a living baby is a miracle in itself. The fact that man can think and design modern things is a miracle in itself.

If you'd say that you will believe in the existence of God only if you can see miracles, everything that exist around us and all that happens around us are miracles in themselves, would you now believe in God?
